A dealer preferred provider network identifies and formalizes relationships with tow providers who are the preferred providers for company dealers for the purpose of providing roadside assistance under warranty and fleet programs.
Under this program, the preferred tow providers will be the first providers called for roadside assistance requests, with the general network operating as a back drop in case a dealer’s preferred provider is not available.
The Dealer Preferred Network creates benefits for all Roadside Protect partners:
For the manufacturer, it means fewer customer complaints, better CSI and improved efficiencies that lead to lower costs.
For dealers, it is an opportunity to work on a regular basis with the towing providers they know, which provides an incentive for the tow providers maintain a good relationship with the dealers. Also with more frequent communication it becomes easier to arrange special needs such as storage and after hour access.
For preferred providers, it is an opportunity to earn additional business from dealers and manufacturers that they may not have had before.
